Glen Neil
Glen started drumming around the age of 5.Taught by my father Callum Neil (of Neil drumstick fame) and joined his first pipeband in 1983 ,Dofasco Pipe band. He then joined the Clan MAC Farlane Pipe Band in 1985 and played there until 1990 ,playing lead in his last year.
Glen joined the SL78th's in the winter of 1990, playing under Harv Dawson leaving the band in 1994. At this time Glen took a few years off. After a couple of years sitting out he helped out a few bands with Toronto Police under Alan Savage being one of them.
Glen lives in Burlington Ontario, and has been happily married to his wife Sandra for 11 years and has 2 wonderful children. Malcolm who is 9 years old and daughter Rylee who is 5.
