Scott Currie started drumming under the instruction of Jimmy Agnew and went on to have a terrific start to his drumming career by wining all Champion Supreme Levels from Grade 4 to Professional.

Scott then played with the legendary Drew Duthart at The Metro Toronto Police, in which they won many Championships together. After the separation of Metro, Scott played with the 78th Frasers under Michael Hunter. While going to School, and traveling, Scott took a few of years off to only be re-united with Drew once again.

Scott has been an active member for the past 7 years. Some highlights that are most memorable to Scott are; several North American & Canadian Solo Championships, 18 World Championship Trips, Bermuda, California, Ireland, Colorado, Worlds Best Drum Corps, Supplying Drew with more sticks, the lovely Rooms at Strathclyde University, Glasgow cab rides, Shania Twain, traveling throughout Canada, the States and Europe, The Todd (Gossip Pub), rain at the Worlds, warmth of Glasgow, The Merry Fryer, & just playing…..

Scott is currently teaching private lessons and is The Drumming instructor for the Argyle and Sutherland Highlanders. Scott is currently living in Hamilton, Ontario with his wife Meaghan.
